Before application, inspect the adhesive for uniform texture, no delamination, precipitation, crystallization or abnormal odor. Discard any deteriorated material.
Ensure EPDM granules and the base surface (concrete, asphalt, etc.) are clean, dry, dust-free and oil-free. Moisture will weaken bonding and cause bubbles, so the moisture content of the base should be controlled below 10%.
Construction is recommended at 15–30°C with relative humidity of 50%–70%. Avoid construction in rain, snow, fog or strong direct sunlight. Maintain good ventilation on site.
For two-component adhesive, weigh the main agent and curing agent strictly according to the specified ratio. Stir evenly at low speed to avoid excessive air bubbles. Stirring time should be sufficient to ensure no streaks or unmixed parts.
Use the mixed adhesive within its pot life. Once it thickens or gels, stop using it.
Apply the adhesive evenly with appropriate thickness; avoid over-coating or insufficient coating. Excessive glue may slow curing and increase yellowing risk, while insufficient glue leads to weak bonding.
Complete bonding within the open time of the adhesive. Apply slight pressure to remove air and ensure full contact. Clean excess adhesive promptly to avoid affecting appearance and anti-yellowing performance.
Do not add any solvents or foreign additives without authorization, which may damage adhesive performance and yellowing resistance.
Maintain a stable curing environment at 15–30°C, away from rain, high temperature and strong UV exposure during curing.
Avoid contact, pressure or early use before full curing. Generally, the adhesive reaches surface dryness in about 24 hours and full curing in approximately 7 days (varies by environment).
If bubbles, gaps or debonding appear during curing, repair them only after the adhesive is fully cured to ensure overall performance.
Store the adhesive in a cool, dry, ventilated and dark place, away from heat, fire and oxidants. Storage temperature should be 5–30°C.
Keep containers tightly sealed. After opening, use the adhesive as soon as possible and reseal immediately to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.
Store components separately for two-component products. Do not use expired adhesive; test performance first if over the shelf life.
Avoid violent collision, extrusion or inversion during transportation and storage to prevent leakage.
Operators must wear protective gloves, goggles and masks. Avoid direct skin or eye contact. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical help if necessary.
No smoking or open flames at the construction site. Equip fire extinguishing equipment to prevent fire risks.
Ensure good ventilation to reduce inhalation of volatile components.
Waste adhesive, empty containers and cleaning residues shall be treated as hazardous waste. Do not discharge into drains or soil to prevent environmental pollution.
Conduct a small trial before large-scale construction to verify bonding effect and anti-yellowing performance.
This adhesive is specially designed for EPDM granule bonding; do not misuse it for incompatible materials.
Stop use immediately if abnormal odor, discoloration or thickening occurs during application.
Clean the construction site and tools promptly after completion.
