Q1: Can it be used outdoors?
A: Standard epoxy will yellow under UV. For outdoors, add a UV-stable polyurethane topcoat or use polyaspartic system.
Q2: How long does it last under heavy forklift traffic?
A: 8–12 years with proper installation. For multi-shift, aggressive turning forklifts, we recommend a 2mm total thickness.
Q3: Is it slip-resistant?
A: The standard finish is semi-gloss and moderately slip-resistant. For wet or oily areas, we can add anti-slip aggregate (silica or aluminum oxide) to achieve high slip resistance (R10–R13).
Q4: How soon can forklifts drive on it?
A: Light foot traffic: 24 hours. Forklift traffic: 7 days minimum at 25°C. Lower temperatures extend curing time.
Q5: Can it be applied over old epoxy or existing coatings?
A: No. Old coatings must be removed by shot blasting to expose bare concrete. Epoxy needs a porous substrate for mechanical bond.
Q6: What if my concrete is damp?
A: Concrete moisture must be ≤6% (carbide method) or internal RH ≤75%. For higher moisture, use a moisture-tolerant primer or vapor barrier.
Q7: Does it resist chemicals like brake fluid or battery acid?
A: Yes – it resists oils, greases, diesel, brake fluid, and mild acids (10% H₂SO₄). For strong acids (30%+), upgrade to a chemical-resistant grade.
Q8: Can colors be customized?
A: Yes, we offer RAL colors and custom matching. Minimum order quantity may apply.
Q9: Is it suitable for food & pharmaceutical areas?
A: Yes – seamless, non-porous, and easy to sanitize. Compliant with GMP and HACCP standards.
Q10: Do you provide on-site technical support?
A: Yes, for container orders or projects >3000 m², we can send a technical supervisor to guide installation.
